Pakistani Makes Car that Runs on Water
He said cars could be driven by a system fuelled by water instead of petrol or CNG.
The onlookers were taken aback when they saw it and a cabinet sub-committee lauded the 'Water Fuel Kit Project'.
Religious Affairs Minister Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah, who heads the panel, said the engineer would have their full support.
The media report explained that the water fuelling system is a technology in which 'hydrogen bonding' with distilled water produces hydrogen gas to run the car.
Ahmad had earlier told Shah about the unique project and it was taken to the federal cabinet which asked its sub-committee to discuss it.
During the demonstration, Shah himself drove the car.
The minister said that Ahmad would be given complete security and the formula would be kept secure.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh value the project, he said.
"We own this project and are committed to successfully completing it," he was quoted as saying.

Blackberry 10 Concept Phone
Blackberry 10 Slider Phone is rumoured to be code named Blackberry Milan. There have been recent reports regarding the scrapping of the hardware design by RIM. But now, those rumours are taking newer dimensions again with fresh images of BB10 Slider phone concept getting out. As far as the concept design goes by, device features a sleek and sophisticated look with a black exterior body.
The keyboard design seems to be more impressive with sources claiming that a microtrackpad will be placed between the ‘T’ and ‘Y’ keys in the keyboard. One of the objectives of new Blackberry 10 OS is to make it user friendly. The angular keyboard is supposed to be the main source of attraction in Blackberry 10 Slider phone concept. Even though form factor is impressive, there has been increasing reports of users feeling that screen display size could have been much larger. We can expect more changes regarding overall features and specifications of this device once the final version is launched next year.
RIM is expecting to make significant transformations in both its smartphone and tablet segment with their latest advanced Blackberry 10 OS that will arrive with devices set to be released next year. It might also include Blackberry 10 Slider model smartphone which seems to be in work in progress state. RIM is struggling to catch up with its rivals such as Apple and Microsoft as of now.

Agent Jadoo:Software for Monitoring Pirated Activities Related to Movies

Agent Jadoo is an anti piracy software for monitoring the download/upload of latest pirated movies, songs etc on the Internet, launched a few weeks ago.
It is the brainchild of actor /director/engineer Prakash Bhare, techie Stephen Antony, Rashid MA a legal consultant and advocate C.P. Unnikrishnan, a high court lawyer.
Agent Jadoo:Software for Monitoring Pirated Activities Related to Movies
Explaining the reasons for launching this new software Prakash says, “Digital media took centre stage in the movie business a couple of decades ago and audiences got access to content through television, tapes, disks, flash drives and so on making it easy to pirate films. This led to two thirds of Kerala’s theatres closing down and yearly film production being reduced to half. Agent Jadoo targets the umbilical cord of piracy —the Internet, which feeds other forms these days.’’ A number of M’Town films have used the services of Agent Jadoo like Diamond Necklace, Thattathin Marayathu, Spirit and Chattakkari.
Agrees Abhinay Deo, director of Delhi Belly, “Piracy is eating into a major chunk of our business. Filmmakers work really hard to reach audiences through their work but illegal uploads of songs and videos affect profits. A software like this is the need of the hour as it’s important to tell people that piracy is illegal and can get one in trouble. Today most educated people put up new releases on various websites without realising how these can affect the complete strategy of a director who wants to reach the masses in his own way. Bollywood or any film industry will definitely benefit from such an initiative.’’
Director Lal Jose of Diamond Necklace is gung ho about Agent Jadoo. He says, “Any person, anywhere in the world, who uploads any songs or films illegally onto any site, will get a direct warning and be served with a legal notice! This software is vigilant 24 hours of the day. Sadly, the industry is also to blame as there has been huge negligence from our side.’’
Allison Patel, director of the film ?, says that such software applications may help but not completely. “The system of filmmaking that we follow in India is not very standard. Yash Dave and I, being technical students tried hard to prevent our film from being downloaded illegally but it still was. We released our film on the Internet for viewers in the US, but within hours it was being watched in India as well. We couldn’t do anything even after being technically aware,” he says.
Agent Jadoo has servers around the world and processes to monitor, detect and tackle piracy related activities on the net. Says Prakash, “Content owners sign up with us and authorise us to act on their behalf. We work with them and the law enforcement agencies as required. We have been able to ensure zero piracy for all the films protected by Agent Jadoo!’’
However, according to Allison, software like Agent Jadoo may only give a short-term solution. “But to stop piracy completely, the Indian film industry needs to work hard. It will take a lot of time before we finally come up with fool-proof solution,” he says.
All said and done, this jadoo is certainly working in M’Town, at least for now and one hopes other segments of the Indian film industry will soon be able to test its effectiveness as well!

Concept Phone:Nokia N1 Runs Android 4.0

This may not be much of a concept, but the idea behind it is great. Meet the Nokia N1, the very first model to run Android 4.0 ICS preinstalled.
Nokia N1 Runs Android 4.0
This phone comes with the 41 megapixel Nokia PureView camera sensor, a HD ClearBlack display and the pure Google experience. Since right now Nokia is teamed up with Microsoft there’s no way you’ll see something like this, but give  it some time and maybe Nokia will come around and get rid of Windows Phone. It’s interesting to see those capacitive buttons below the display on the device and they actually look pretty nice. The creator of this 41 megapixel Android cameraphone says that he took the Lumia 800 as inspiration.
I heard that some of Nokia N9 clones made in China and they ran Android, so it’s actually possible to fulfill your fantasy of owning that shell for a device and with a custom OS of your choice.
