The Indian music industry is very closely affiliated with the Bollywood movie industry. IMI says nearly 68 percent of music sales are in the Bollywood soundtrack category.IMI Chief Adviser, JF Ribeiro, said: “There is a lot to be done as there is a long battle ahead to curb piracy. The IMI is now focusing on implementation of the order and ensuring that all unauthorised websites which offer downloading of music for free without license are banned and blocked.”
The recorded music market in India was worth an estimated US$141.2 million in 2011, according to IFPI figures. This represented a 6.2 per cent increase on 2010, but still means the market, long blighted by piracy, was worth a fraction of that of other Asian nations, such as Japan (US$4 billion) and South Korea (US$199 million). If piracy could be effectively addresses, there is potential for the market to increase substantially. A significant proportion of record company revenues in India (46%) are already derived from digital channels and there are 16 licensed digital music services.
Hopefully, this move from the IMI and other bodies will be the first serious attack on piracy of Indian music which is losing billions and no doubt the issue is as big in the UK for British-Asian music as it is abroad.

Rating:1.5/5
2.BSNL Panta Tpad S 701r (Rs 3,250)
BSNL Panta Tpad S 701r (Rs 3,250)
BSNL has started selling its own tablet, and consider to be the cheapest tablet in India after Aakash tablet. It is priced about Rs 3,259 and comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread,1GHz processor(ARM11 IMAP210) and 256MB RAM.The tablet also offers HDMI Support and has WiFi capability. When talking about Display it has 7 inch resistive touchscreen with 800*600 resoltion and 16:9 aspect ratio. BSNL  Tpad  is powered with 3000mAh battery and has 2GB internal memory(expandable). The tab also contains VGA front facing camera expecially for video calling.
However, like Aakash their is the issue of unavailabilty, but quality and service should be much better.
Rating: 2.3/5
3.Micromax Funbook(Rs 6,500)
Micromax Funbook
Micromax Funbook can be considered as the high quality cheapest tablet in India.I am telling this because of its exciting specification,it is based on Android 4.0 Icecream sandwich OS and has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with 800*480 pixel resolution. The Funbook has a Cortex A8 1GHz processor and dedicated dual core MALI Graphics processor that helps for gaming. It features 512 RAM and 4GB internal memory (exp. upto 32GB via SDHC cards). For data connectivity Funbook provides WiFi and 3G connecivity through USB dongle and has HDMI support.
I prefer this amoung the other low cost tablets, the only disadvantages is its 512MB RAM and this result in lag while playing games.
Rating: 4.2/5
4.HCL Me U1 (Rs 7,999)
HCL Me U1

The main advantage is its service,HCL has wide area of service network,So i also prefer HCL MeTab as one amoung the best low cost tablets.
Rating:4.0/5
Quick Comparison
  • Operating System:In the case of OS,Aakash is the best choice because it can be upgraded to Icecream sandwich eventhough it is shipping Gingerbread intially.
  • Processor:Micromax Funbook is the good option coming with Cortex A8 1GHz processor & dedicated dual core MALI Graphics processor.Suitable for gaming and fast HD Play.
  • Brand Name:it goes to HCL,so that you will not go down on the crowd and it has best service ever.According to my experience,HCL Tab is durable and long lasting.
  • Battery Power:Both HCL and Micromax have same battery life.
  • Camera:All have VGA front camera ,except Aakash
  • Memory:HCL and Micromax have 4GB memory (exp.upto 32 GB)
  • RAM:Aakash is the best with 1GB RAM
  • Cost effective:Micromax Funbook (my option)
There are many other cheapest tablets in India like Milagrow tablet and iBerry Auxus AX 02 (both cost Rs 9,999).I didn't opt this two because of its low quality.
So why are you waiting for, choose your tablet and let me know about it...

How to Cancel the order of Aakash Tablet ?

We are hearing about the Aakash Tablet for past 2 years, saying 'Coming Soon'.I think the Datawind guyz don't know the meaning of Soon, they actually means Soooooooooooooooooooooooon.
cancel the order of Aakash Tablet
Any way,we can talk about, how to cancel the order of Aakash tablet .Many of friends saying that they have ordered the tablet twice, due to the confusion made by Datawind Officials in their official site(I also do this same mistake).Later, when i reviews the tablet(Aakash 1),what  to say,I feel i am reviewing a chinese tablet. So i decided to Cancel the order. But their is no option on their website. So what to do??
When your tablet is ready to deliver, the datawind officials will send you a confirmation E-mail.If you want to cancel the order, you don't replay to it,so they will considered you don't want the tablet. This is also applicable to those who ordered the tablet twice.

How to Check the Data usage of Bsnl Broadband?

Since BSNL is not providing or updating the data usage of the Broadband Postpaid Service for the past 2 month,we have to take precatution, not to increase the Telephone bill.So today i am discussing about how to check the data usage using a software.
Top amoung the category is Shaplus Bandwidth Meter 1.3:
Monitor Data Usage Of BSNL Broadband
Features
  • Very easy to operate, even a small children can do it
  • Size is less than 1MB,So it can be downloaded even using GPRS or EDGE.
  • Usage will indicate at the Desktop toolbar.
  • It gives details about the Usage at 'Now,Today,This Month' Category.
  • If your Plan is unlimited during specific time, shaplus has option to set the time duration.
What should be the Actual Usage?
Sharplus will monitor the Data that is sending from your system,so it is 99% accurate. So this Usage should not be equal to tradional BSNL Data Monitoring.Actual Usage should be one by fourth of Shaplus Data Monitoring.

Flame virus: How it is going to affect you

There will be few among us whose computers weren't infected by a virus. We wouldn't know if any data was ever stolen by a stranger sitting, say in Estonia. But, what we do recollect is how our laptops wouldn't start; and we had to get the operating system reinstalled; and in the process, lose photos and videos we hadn't backed up.

The buzz in cyberspace now is about the biggest, the most powerful, and the most complex computer virus ever discovered - variously called Flame, Flamer or Skywiper. It has sent alarm bells ringing, and has reminded us, for the umpteenth time, how even the best-protected network can be broken into.
The virus hit headlines in March/April this year, when the Iranian oil ministry was affected. And a few weeks back, researchers found Flame similar to Stuxnet virus that had disabled the centrifuges in an Iranian nuclear plant. What has stunned experts is the complexity of Flame, the size of which was 20MB, while Stuxnet was only about half a megabyte.
Calling it the dawn of a new era in cyberwarfare, Kaspersky Labs said the virus was "destined to leave an indelible mark on the cyber weapons' landscape". Symantec research shows Flamer has been operating for at least two years with the ability to steal documents, take screenshots of users' desktops, spread via USB drives, disable security vendor products, and under certain conditions spread to other systems. One mode of operation is Bluetooth.
According to Shantanu Ghosh, VP and MD, India Product operations, Symantec, the Bluetooth functionality of Flame is embedded in a module, which when triggered in accordance with the configuration set by the attacker, can result in two actions: one, scan Bluetooth devices in the range, and once detected, steal details like the ID; and two, the infected computer itself will appear when any Bluetooth device scans the local area.
It is networks in mainly West Asia that have been affected, but Ghosh says infections have been reported from Hungary and Hong Kong. Are we in India under threat?
Kaspersky says that it recorded instance of attacks in India. Says Alex Gostev, chief security expert, Global Research and Analysis Team, Kaspersky Lab, "Only a few detections by Kaspersky Lab anti-virus were registered on the computers with Indian IP address. But that can be any user even a tourist from another country who was in India at that moment. The countries worst hit by Flame are Iran, Israel/Palestine, Syria, Lebanon."
Says Ghosh, "This threat is highly targeted and not likely to impact most users. In addition to particular organizations being targeted, many of the compromised computers appear to be personal computers being used from home Internet connections."
However Naresh Raval, a web developer, sounds a word of caution. "You never know. Security agencies have all said Flame is so complex that they haven't fully understood how it works. Internet is a vast global network, and it doesn't take much for malware to spread, and wreak havoc."
